Dr. Ben Mack: Prominent User of the Internet, “Art and Games”
Y’all remember the great debate about whether video games can be art, right? The one that was incited or at least inflamed by Roger Ebert?
This is one of the best responses to the whole kerfuffle I’ve read yet, and it also happens to be funny. This quote may be the pinnacle of funniness within the post, therefore it has been tumbl’d.
I would mention something about being confused by President’s Day but then I remembered my whole country not only takes off the Queen’s Birthday (not the current one’s, Victoria’s) and Alberta has Family Day in order to distract us all from Ralph Klein’s son’s drug abuse. (It’s in February.)
In Manitoba it’s Louis Riel Day today. Which, I think it’s awesome that we have a day for him, but I’m kind of confused that it’s just a randomly picked day about half way between New Year’s and Easter. Riel’s name seems kind of tacked on.
